Debra comes to ACHANGE with a broad range of experience in the nonprofit and governmental sectors. She served as a consultant with Counseling and Consulting Services, a small nonprofit consulting firm. As a consultant, she has trained and assisted small nonprofits with planning and development. She was Assistant Executive Director of DCDDC, Inc., a nonprofit agency that provides services to adults and children with developmental disabilities. There, she oversaw two programs, provided training to internal and external customers, and led community outreach and education efforts.
Debra is a certified Professional Community and Economic Developer and serves as a Class Director with Community Development Central at UCA. She is a charter founding member of the Cornerstone Leadership Development Institute, a former Chair of the Bradley County Chamber of Commerce and Publicity Chair of the Bradley County Pink Tomato Festival.
Debra is a graduate of the University of Phoenix with a Master degree in Human Resources Management and a Bachelor degree in Management. She is an alumnus of Community Development Central, Leadership Drew County, Leadership Bradley County and Training Community Organizations for Change (TCOC). She currently serves as the Vice President of Technology on the Arkansas Community Development Society Board of Directors.
